Wow they weren't kidding when they said time would FLY BY with this little lady! I was planning on posting a blog when she turned a week old but things have been pretty crazy (obviously) So I'm posting just in time for her to turn 10 days old tomorrow! It really feels like I just delivered yesterday.. (mentally AND physically) Taking care of her and getting to know her has been quite the adventure. Waking up every 2 hours to feed and change her while dealing with the gross healing process of my own has definitely worn me out but it's worth every second of it! I'll admit it, there have already been nights where I have randomly broken down, sobbing, while changing her diaper or cleaning her spit up. The other night, I woke up poor Jorden in the middle of the night crying my eyes out. He immediately woke up, alarmed and asked what was wrong. I said "She just pooped and threw up." Haha he just stared at me and I'm sure he was thinking in his head "That's what babies are supposed to do!" But I'm telling you, when you're that exhausted at 3 in the morning and it feels like you're changing the 328th diaper and then she throws up all over herself, the emotions can get overwhelming! Luckily, Jorden has been AMAZING with everything so far. He's a lot better at keeping calm and just going with the flow while I'm constantly stressing out over nothing and trying not to cry over the tiniest things (I'm still blaming the hormones! Haha) As tired and upset as I get, it's all completely worth it when I see Aspen smile as her daddy gives her kisses! We just did her newborn pictures yesterday and even though it started getting a little hairy towards the end, we got some amazing pictures and I'm so excited to share them. Quick plug,

I wish I had some previews of our photoshoot yesterday but they'll come very soon! Here are some non-professional but still very cute photos of this past week for now!
